Shift Guide Editorial & Correction Policy

We verify game identity, platform and update context before writing a Guide. Internally we retain public page URLs, retrieval times, conflicts and the facts used. Public Guides give task instructions in our own structure and language.

An official changelog establishes the published rule. A player report establishes a reported experience, not a universal mechanic or confirmed repair. We identify unresolved differences rather than supplying invented codes, probabilities, timers or playtesting claims.

Published dates reflect first publication. Updated dates change for substantive content revisions, not merely a new build. Each Guide names its version and platform. Images may depict launch UI; captions state when a screenshot does not show a later reworked feature. Original logic diagrams are labeled separately from game screenshots.

We prioritize incorrect actions, version mismatches and missing conditions. Our site identity is independent of the game’s publisher. There are no fabricated authors, reviews, endorsements or affiliate claims. About and correction details.
